    Overall the staff was well-trained and very amiable. The location was amazing and marvellous, adjacent to the breakfast area / restaurant, an inside alley with a light that was on during the night, and tourist places. I tried some drinks at bar La Licciola, located 5 minutes walk away.

    I had a twin room that also was complete with complimentary water and coffee, as for instance. Peaceful location and well-trained and delightfully helpful staff were a definite plus. Distance to the airport was just 0.5 miles.

    Views appeared to be not very nice.

    During our three nights, we enjoyed a beautiful setting with attentive staff. The concierge was helpful, speaking fluent English and offering great local tips. Don't miss the delicious breakfast buffet. The fresh juices were a highlight! A perfect choice for exploring Cartagena!

    Hotel Capellan is charming. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Getsemani, with easy access to the Walled City. Andrea at the front desk made check-in smooth and cute. Rey, the bellman, added a personal touch with his friendly demeanor. My king room had a lovely ambiance with exposed brick walls and a beautiful courtyard view. The room felt spacious with its two wardrobes and sitting area. The TV had Netflix-ideal after exploring the vibrant streets. I enjoyed the rooftop pool, despite it feeling like a lap pool. Breakfast options were good, especially the fresh juices. I noticed the pool area seemed a bit cramped, limiting space for relaxation. The noise from the nearby rooftop bar was an issue too, keeping me up late. While the hotel is beautiful, the pool and noise could use some attention.

    great experience but minor room issues

    The rooftop pool offered fine views and a relaxing atmosphere. Staff members were attentive and helped us organize island trips. The superior queen room was beautifully designed. We loved the garden view.
